How Many Units?

Will Pets Be Allowed?

Yes. There will, however, be limitation of types and sizes.

Will There Be In-suite Laundry?

There will be a mix of laundry options.

  • 2 and 3-bedroom units will have in-suite laundry

  • Studios and 1-bedrooms will have a shared, common laundry room

Will There Be Balconies?

No.

  • Balconies have the potential to pose unnecessary risks.

  • Balconies also can result in ‘makeshift’ storage that can be unsightly.

WILL THERE BE ANY AMENITY SPACES?

Yes. A multipurpose amenity room will be located on the main level, with direct access to an outdoor patio space and ample outdoor space complete with children’s play area. The outdoor amenity will be connected to the walking trails within the Nicomekl River. 

The property is centrally located with walking distance to the City of Langley’s downtown core and is close to bus routes, providing for transit options to the future residents. The site sits across from the Langley Regional Airport and adjacent to Langley Secondary, McLeod Athletic Park and Stadium, It is also in close proximity to the Langley Memorial Hospital.

Individuals and/or households receiving income assistance (including seniors on fixed incomes).  

Eligibility: 

  • Incomes up to $28,669

 

50% of units

Individuals and/or households whose incomes are at or below the appropriate Housing Income Limits (“HILs”).  HILs are based on figures established by CMHC and are intended to reflect the minimum income required to afford appropriate accommodation in the private market. Rents will be structured on a “rent-geared-to-income” basis equating to 30% of the household’s gross income.

Eligibility:

  • Incomes up to $ 58,000 units less than 2 bedrooms

  • Incomes up to $ 72,000 units with 2 Bedroom

  • Incomes up to $86,000 units with 2+ Bedrooms

 

30% of units

Rented at affordable market rents determined by BC Housing for the Township of Langley

Eligibility: 

  • Incomes up to $84,780 for units with less than 2 Bedrooms

  • Incomes up to $134,140 for units with more than 3 Bedrooms
